We thank them all for their efforts and wish them good luck for the future.

Meanwhile, manager Danny Heale has bolstered his squad with the signing of six new players on Thursday evening. Playing for The Gulls next season will be:

Sam Collins - Canvey-born 27-year-old midfielder who joins having played for island neighbours Concord Rangers in the National League South for the previous three seasons.

Sam played youth and reserve team football for MK Dons before dropping into non-league football in 2009 when he signed for Hendon. He went on to have successful spells with Maidenhead United, AFC Hornchurch and East Thurrock United.

David Knight - Forward who joins from Bowers & Pitsea where he scored 17 goals in 31 appearances last season.

A prolific goalscorer wherever he has played, David has previously had spells with Thurrock, Billericay Town, Aveley, Metropolian Police, Wingate & Finchley and AFC Hornchurch.

Albert Levett - 23-year-old midfielder who re-joins the club after spending the previous four years playing in the USA.

Albert originally joined the Gulls from Redbridge during the 2011/12 season. He was a regular in the Essex U18's side, and was part of the side that won the FA County Youth Cup Final and the English Schools FA U18 Inter-County Trophy in 2012.

He moved to the USA in 2013 to play for Northern Illinois University while studying Corporate Communications.

Teddy Nesbitt - 23-year-old left-sided player who is comfortable either in defence or midfield and joins from AFC Hornchurch.

Teddy came through the youth ranks at Southend United, breaking into the first team before moving into non-league football with the likes of Aveley, VCD Athletic, Billericay Town and East Thurrock United.

James Walker - 29-year-old forward who joins the club from East Thurrock United where he spent the previous two season. He has played for a host of Football League clubs including Hartlepool United, Bristol Rovers, Leyton Orient, Notts County, Yeovil Town, Southend United and Gillingham.

James has been capped at Under-18 level by England and as full international for Antiqua & Bermuda.

Luke Wilson - Central defender who joins from Bowers & Pitsea where he played 125 times during a three-year spell. He won the Essex Senior League with the club as well as reaching the semi-final of the FA Vase.

Luke has also had spells during the 2016/17 season with Billericay Town and Grays Athletic.

We welcome all six players and look forward to seeing them in action for the Gulls.

Any other new signings and additions to the retained list will be announced as and when they are confirmed.
