The hosts took the lead early on when Jay May headed home after James Russell had saved Rob Swaine's initial head. However, Canvey equalised when Jason Hallett's cross from the right wing was headed back across goal by Leon Gordon for Rob King to finish.
With the score 1-1 at the break, The Blues retook the lead soon after the restart when a ball in from the right was volleyed home by Jay May for his second of the match.
Once again though, Canvey levelled the scores. Rob King's free kick found John Easterford's head at the back post, who headed the ball across goal for Jason Hallett to turn over the line.
Billericay retook the lead almost immediately when David Knight found the bottom corner, and when Rob Swaine headed in a fourth the points were sealed for Craig Edwards side.
