It's with great sadness that we announce that Dave Wallis passed away earlier this week having suffered from dementia in his later life.

Dave was a great servant to the club who worked tirelessly over the years.

Those who knew him well will remember him as a person who was often the source of laughter and was the main culprit of pranks.

He was proud of the football club and the pitch, and we were proud of him.

Dave's funeral will take place on Friday 15th May, although due to the coronavirus has been limited to immediate family only. The funeral will however go past the football club shortly after 15:10 for anyone who would like to pay their respects while observing social distancing.
