Canvey Island will look to bounce back on Saturday in a quick turnaround, as they welcome high-flying Dartford to the Steves Taxis Stadium.

Our Opponents
The Darts are starting to show the sort of form they were anticipated to build as one of the pundits favourites for promotion. They are on a stirling unbeaten run, not having tasted defeat in their last 10 matches - winning their last 3 on the spin.

They come into this game extending that record at home after a 2-1 Boxing Day victory at home to Cray Wanderers at Princes Park.

Manager Adrian Pennock has assembled a squad to help take the club back to the National League South at the first time of asking. Players like Samir Carruthers, Denzelle Olapade and Sam Okoye are standout names on the teamsheet, but in Olly Box, they have one of the divisions standout players at the midway stage, having notched 9 goals from midfield already this season.

The two sides have already met once this season, with the Darts getting the better of the Gulls back in August in a 2-0 reverse.

The Gulls
Canvey meanwhile, will be looking to put in a better performance in front of a home crowd after suffering a below par 3-0 defeat away at local rivals Billericay Town.

Already 2 goals down at the break, another missed penalty proved costly early in the 2nd half as the Gullls suffered a bad day at the office.

Parking
Parking at the Steves Taxi's Stadium is free to all but limited to first come / first serve. Additional parking can be found on the adjacent side roads, but please be mindful of our neighbours if using this option. Parking on Park Lane itself is also strongly advised against.
