Canvey Island will play for a chance to compete in the FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round when they travel to Braintree Town on Tuesday evening for a 2nd Qualifying Round Replay.

The Gulls and the Iron couldn't be separated on Saturday, as they produced a 1-1 draw in front of a good crowd at the Moviestarr Stadium.

Mason Hall put Canvey ahead just before half time as he headed in from a Conor Hubble free kick. However, the visitors equalised midway through the second half, as George Quentrell slotted past Sam Jackson to level the scores.
Despite chances at either end, the game finished in a draw, meaning a replay will be required at Braintree's Cressing Road Stadium.

The 3rd Qualifying Round draw has seen the winner of this tie given a home tie against the winners of another replay, between National League North sides Brackley Town and Scunthorpe United.

The Gulls should be able to call upon the same side they fielded on Saturday, with Joe Paxman and Elliot Johnson absent through injury.
